Always a highlight of our year - once a year our f

Always a highlight of our year - once a year our fantastic advisory board visit for an in person board meeting and this includes a meal with our Community Decision Making Panel and our brilliant team. Today we created a timeline of our favourite moments at PIP over the past 10 years and we heard what everyone is hoping the next 5 years might hold for our neighbourhood and our organisation. This feels a great moment to say thank you to all of our board members, community decision making panel and team for your support and work. We could not do this without you and appreciate every contribution.

We were so excited today to pick up loads of funky tools and ceramic equipment to get creative with in our new building. Woo!

Anna and Rebecca have had a brilliant day at the amazing @tippingpointeast for the @nationalretrofithub Retrofit Obviously Summit - Hearing about retrofit work from across the country, discussing the challenges for communities, local and national government and industry. A rich day full of questions but also plenty of ideas and hope. We were pleased to share the work we are doing in our neighbourhood and to catch up with friends and colleagues.

Building update: Some beautiful architectural cera

Building update: Some beautiful architectural ceramics are starting to make an appearance on site. Our downstairs quarry tiles are in the process of being laid - absolutely perfect for conducting the heat from our under floor heating system. And then most exciting is that our #portlandprofiles roof ridge tile inserts have arrived - Our neighbours profiles will forever be watching over the neighbourhood. Can you spot anyone you know? Our enormous thanks to @ketleybrick and @dreadnought.tiles for collaborating with us on getting this right. They are just the most wonderful addition to our building and we can’t wait for them to be installed. Pics show the finished profiles - made from our local Etruria Marl Clay and high fired to achieve the unmistakable Staffordshire Blue colour - also pics of our making process, visit to Ketley Brick Factory with neighbours to cut out some of the profiles and sketchbook page of initial concept - and a first glimpse at that floor!
